Salzburg historically famous for music, and Venice as a marvel of Italian art and culture, are linked through a continuous liaison made of light and color where glass becomes the protagonist element and leitmotif of the project in the masterpieces of Murano Barovier & Toso glassware.

The selection of works of art and the great photographs of Luigi Caputo represent the two cities and declare the designer's desire to bring the city outside the Stein as it happens in Venice, where the reflection of the city on the water it becomes part of internal architecture.

The link between the two cities is still strengthened inside the Stein in the carefully restored historical pre-existences that are enhanced by typically Venetian furnishings and finishes, such as in particular the Terazzo Veneziano floors, Rubelli fabrics and the extraordinary Murano glass by Barovier & Toso.

The project wants to make the Stein a whole with the city but also an exception that is distinguished from conventional hotels: a house made of art, light and color.

The Salzach river, dominated by the Stein with its large panoramic terrace, and the canals of Venice: here the blue of the water, in its innumerable shades, becomes an element of ideal union between the two cities, coloring with character the details of the spaces interior.
